Old Enfield is home to many of the oldest colonial style homes in Austin, including the historic Pease Mansion.

Old Enfield boundaries are West 24th Street on the north, Lamar Blvd to the east, MoPac to the west and Enfield Road on the south.

Pease Park offers 42 acres of outdoor activities including disc golf, hiking trails on shoal creek, basketball, a playground and BBQ grills. Two Austin iconic festivals are held here each year – the jazz festival and Eeyore’s birthday party which just celebrated its 48th year.

Duncan Park borders Old Enfield and offers a winding trail along Shoal Creek for tranquility, while the other side of the park has a popular and challenging BMX track. Extreme bikers come from far and wide to experience the challenge of this BMX track.

Old Enfield is part of the Old West Austin neighborhood, which began as a 320 acre land grant. This area was designated by the American Planning Association as one of 10 Great Neighborhoods in 2007 through its “Great Places in America” program.

Old Enfield Neighbor Association is a voluntary association for area residents that helps to govern the development and historic preservation of the area. They send out a quarterly news letter and organize a picnic annually.

Nearby Lamar Boulevard offers Old Enfield resident’s great shops and restaurants. The University of Texas is also just a few blocks away. Old Enfield residents can easily walk to some of the best attractions in Austin, and enjoy some of the best dining and shopping experiences in the region as well.
