Govalle is a quiet, tree-shaded neighborhood located east of downtown Austin. In some areas, you wouldn’t realize you’re in the city with sites of single family homes nestled on green lawns. Residents also enjoy access to 183, I-35 and the Austin Bergstrom Airport. The boundaries are Oak Springs on the north, Airport Boulevard on the east, Town Lake on the south, Pleasant Valley to 7th Street to the Northwestern, and Webberville on the west.

Homes in this area are relatively affordable and can vary widely in age and condition.  The average home is in the $150,000’s, less than the median home price in Austin. Govalle Elementary is the main elementary school, Kealing Middle School and Johnston High.

The 26 acre Govalle Park is a great place for recreation or a weekend BBQ.  It has a baseball field, basketball and volleyball courts, a playground and a pool.
