Lamplight Village is a neighborhood of approximately 1400 homes located between Round Rock and Austin. It is bordered on the north and east by the newer subdivisions of Scofield Ridge and Scofield Farms, on the south by Parmer Lane and Galway Street, and on the west by a couple of short streets and FM 1325.
Walnut Creek Park, located just to the west, offers basketball and volleyball courts, picnic areas, playground equipment, a swimming pool, and miles of trails.
Shopping at The Domain, Gateway Plaza or the Arboretum is all within a short drive. Big box stores like Fryes, Specs and Home Depot are also close by. And the many restaurants and shops along Parmer Lane let you stay close to home to fill your daily needs.
Most of the homes were built between 1976 and 1985. The average home sells for about $110 a sq ft and is still affordable in the $130,000’s to $150,000’s. To see what’s selling today click here>>
The Lamplight Village Neighbor Association was formed originally to keep Michelin Tire Company from opening a manufacturing plant on Parmer Lane. It’s not really active anymore but does keep a website.
Lamplight Village is in the Pflugerville school district and is served by state recognized Parmer Lane Elementary and Westview Middle schools, both of which are within walking distance of the community. Connally High serves the upper grades as well.
