Montopolis is an older neighborhood annexed into the Austin area in the mid 1900′s. Filled with thousands of college students with many University of Texas shuttles making their run into this area daily. Residents here have more room to breathe with a suburban feel to the neighborhood. Homes are smaller and a little older, but they sit on larger lots with mature trees.
The community is roughly defined by Lady Bird Lake to the north, Pleasant Valley Rd. to the west, SH 183 to the east and SH 71 Ben White to the south.
Pleasant Valley Park and Riverside Golf Course are both close by for the outdoor life. Montopolis Recreation Center offers great day programs for kids as well.
Schools are split between Austin ISD and Del Valle ISD, so know which one you’re in before you buy.
