If you’re really looking for a challenging workout, ride your bike or walk up the hill into Jester Estates. Jester is surrounded on three sides by the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve near the junction of RM 2222 and Loop 360 in the beautiful Texas hill country. Jester is known for its variety of wildlife including deer, coyote, and an occasional wild pig.
Jester is convenient to a lot of high tech firms along 360 (Capital of Texas Hwy), and commuting to downtown or the Arboretum is very convenient as well.
Lake Travis is west on 2222 and Lake Austin is just off 360. Greenbelts and the Wild Basin preserve are also within a short drive.
The two shopping centers at the RM2222 entrance include restaurants, a convenience store, a dry cleaner, a beauty salon, a printing company, a child care facility, medical and chiropractic offices, and retail shops. Other nearby restaurants includes County Line on the Lake, Sienna and Waterloo Icehouse.
The Arboretum and Domain shopping area to the north will give you great higher end shopping, restaurants and entertainment options.
The Neighbor Association hosts events and keeps everyone in touch about community events.
Homes in Jester would be described as executive housing. Most were built custom, are over 3000 square feet and feature some amazing views across the canyon. Prices are in the high $400’s and up.
